Inspiring Entrepreneurs is a book about connecting your passions with deliberate planning.  While it’s written for entrepreneurs, the messages from the book are applicable for the purposes of creating Salaried Entrepreneurs within your organization as well.  This is a great workshop as a “pick me up” for revitalizing your team’s passion for their work, and for your team objectives.

Exercise Overview

1 Lecture (5 minutes)   |   “The Dynamic Duo”

A recap of the article and quick discussion on the importance of balancing passion with planning.

2 Team Activity & Discussion (10 minutes)  |   “Reconnection with Passion”

As the title says, this exercise is about helping remind your team of what it was they were excited about when they first joined the business.

3 Solo Activity (25 minutes)   |    “Step One (of 365)”

Drawing from the passion we have for certain elements of our work, this exercise is about setting specific goals and celebrations for accomplishing progress towards our larger goals. We go as far as breaking those goals into monthly action items.

4 Final Thoughts (5 minutes)  |  “Recruit an Army”

When you have a passion and a plan to realize that passion, people can’t help but be attracted to your cause.  This final wrap up is about how to properly include and utilize people that want to help.

Key Deliverables

This workshop is a great “pick me up” for teams that have lost their sense of passion or direction.  Upon completion of this workshop, your team will be inspired in their work, and focused on key deliverables that will help them realize their own objectives, and those of the company.

This workshop requires that you bring your personal calendar, as well as the standard Pen and Paper.  This is a standalone workshop, and no additional follow up work is required.
